The Study of Meditation

I have a gigantic bag of this Bernat Blanket yarn 🧶 I scored from Ollies a few weeks ago. I keep moving it around the construction zone of my house and so decided the only way to make it really gone is to make something out of it!

I found The Study of Meditation pattern from the Crochet Crowd which is a rectangle blanket that I can make for my local charity. It’s going quickly - once I got used to the huge yarn I’m using with a size 13/M 10 mm hook it started going.

It was a bit tricky to start but some strategically placed stitch markers helped me through it. The yarn is so fluffy it’s hard to see the joining points.

My stitches don’t look as defined as the picture in the pattern - maybe using a smaller hook would help. I’ll try that if I make it again with any leftovers!
